In a moment of insanity, Lindsay the dramaturg bet the cast that when they got the tongue to tongue to tongue fire transfer for the Fire Party Act, SHE would learn how to eat fire.
So they did, and she did.
(Pssssst, she always knew they'd get it)
Zay (aka SPIKE) taught Lindsay everything she needed to know about putting a flaming torch inside her mouth.
Lindsay says..... 'the fire coming toward your face is a million times more scary than actually eating fire. It's the thought of putting fire on your tongue that goes against every human instinct. After the first tap.... which took a bit..... I knew I'd be able to do it - And now I have pictures and video!' |
